“We cannot change our past. We can not change the fact that people act in a certain way. We can not change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude.” – Charles R. Swindoll
The seasons are starting to change over. The short days and long nights of Winter are fading away to be exchanged for the long days and short nights of Spring.
Mother Nature has its seasons, and there are seasons in our lives as well.
Change is a part of life. Sometimes we try to stop things from happening. We put up walls, we avoid doing anything that invites change into our lives. We’ve been content living in the current season of our lives that the thought of moving forward is not something we are prepared to do.
On the other hand, some people have grow so complacent with their demons that they are opposed to leaving them behind, even for something better.
Sometimes we will fight tooth and nail against being swept away in the winds of change. But, did you ever think that by resisting you may actually be missing out on something wonderful?
There are things that happen which can never fully be erased. Moments and people that are so ingrained in our memories that they last throughout the seasons.
Just because a season of your life may be coming to an end, it does not mean that those things have to be forgotten. Perhaps this is your time to let go and go along with the winds of change.
